7th Grade - Are you Interested - 8th Grade High School Art Class
Hello 7th Grade Parents and Guardians,
As students get ready for 8th grade, I wanted to let you all know they have the option of applying for the 8th Grade Visual Arts Comprehensive course (8VAC). This is an advanced, high school level art class offered to talented art students in 8th grade. Students can receive high school credit upon completion of the requirements of the course. Students must apply for the course because it is year-round and has more intensive requirements than the regular 8th grade course. Also, because it is year-round, the course may conflict with students who are enrolled in two music connections classes. Not all students who apply will be accepted into the course; however, all students are encouraged to apply.
Please talk about this with your child, and if they are interested, visit the link below to apply.

Disney Update:
Good Morning Families,
As you know, the school district has canceled all field trips. Which means our Disney Trip is canceled. Understandably, we’ve been getting a lot of questions regarding refunds. At this point, we are unable to guarantee anything because the payments were all made to travel companies and they have already paid the vendors.
We have reached out to our travel company and they are doing everything they can to secure refunds from the vendors. This process could take some time (6-8 weeks), and the travel company says that they cannot guarantee anything at this point.
We are sorry for the inconvenience but hope that you’ll bear with us as we are all dealing with these extraordinary events.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Adams and David Nelson, Principal
